Tania Cortes, LMSW

Director of Compliance and Training

Tania Cortes has served as Director of Compliance and Training since 2024, after previously serving as Deputy Director of our Care Management program and as Director at our Casa Mutua supportive housing residence. Tania first joined the Neighborhood House in 2010 as a Social Work Generalist at the Women’s Mental Health Shelter at the Park Avenue Armory and then served as Director of Social Services at the Shelter. Prior to joining us, Tania worked as a Psychotherapist, Program Supervisor and Senior Counselor for the Puerto Rican Family Institute. Tania is a graduate of Hunter College and received her MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Tania is certified in SIFI (Seminar in Field Instruction) and is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker.
